The 100th Anniversary of our DOBARA Tambola Games *Play for Good* on the 31st of July 2022 in Hyderabad, India. As part of our DOBARA Virtual Wellbeing Program which started in 2020, our volunteer Riyaz has been hosting online Tambola Games for all our members, every Sunday for the past 2 years and in July we celebrated our 100th Game Anniversary. It is really an achievement to celebrate, the hours of fun, the Sundays that we spent together playing games - its all magical and special to us. This video is a Mourya Ila production. This falls under the category of Horticulture Therapy which has been proven to be a beneficial tool for healthy and active aging. This is a film documenting the activities of DOBARA, a non-profit organization based in Hyderabad, India and focused on Senior Wellbeing and Healthy, Active Ageing. This film highlights what DOBARA is about, how it functions and how when the pandemic hit, DOBARA adapted its Senior Wellbeing activities into a unique, the first of it's kind, Virtual Wellbeing Program. In December 2020, the DOBARA Virtual Wellbeing Program celebrates it 9 month anniversary. This program has been created with a great deal of research and planning with a focus on social, mental and emotional wellbeing for Seniors and other members. The strength of DOBARA is our dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. This docu-film is a perfect example of this, as it has been made by J.Afshan, a star volunteer at DOBARA who from first-hand experience saw the work done by DOBARA, the intricacy and the innovation behind it, and wanted to help us share it with the world.
