Circle of Connection – A Senior Citizens Support Group
Circle of Connection is a thoughtful group initiative by DOBARA in collaboration with Praan Mental Wellness, designed to support emotional wellbeing, meaningful connection, and a renewed sense of identity among seniors.
This month’s session, “I Am More Than My Age,” creates a reflective and empowering space for seniors to look beyond age-based labels and celebrate the richness of who they are. Through guided conversations and shared reflections, participants are encouraged to honour their life journeys, challenge stereotypes, and reconnect with their strengths, passions, and purpose.
The session is warm, inclusive, and non-clinical, allowing seniors to express themselves comfortably while feeling supported by peers and facilitators.
