Circle of Connection – A Senior Citizens Support Group
Circle of Connection is a supportive group initiative by DOBARA in collaboration with Praan Mental Wellness, created to nurture emotional wellbeing, social connection, and a deeper sense of purpose among senior citizens.
This session, “Finding Meaning & Joy in This Phase of Life,” offers a warm and reflective space for seniors to explore questions of purpose, resilience, and everyday joy. Through guided conversation and shared reflections, participants are encouraged to make sense of the season of life they are in acknowledging challenges, celebrating strengths, and reconnecting with what brings meaning and contentment.
The session is designed to be gentle, inclusive, and non-clinical, allowing seniors to express themselves at their own pace while feeling supported by peers and facilitators.
